How long will you live? This was once thought to be an unanswerable question, but if you continue reading, you can find out right now just how long you may live! It is now known that “what we eat”, can affect the length of our lives, as well as the quality of it. Would you believe that we can reverse the aging process, look younger, and live longer by making healthy and wise nutrition and lifestyle choices? The “Fountain of Youth” really is within our reach!

HealthSteps Rx client, Jim Sawyer, of Double Oak, Texas shared the following tool with me: http://www.agingresearch.org/calculator/quiz.cfm. I found this so interesting that I wanted to share it with you. This tool will tell you your approximate life expectancy, and give you the opportunity to go back and change your answers to see how changes in your behavior might affect your life expectancy.

After using this tool, Mr. Sawyer writes: “ I've tried it both with and without the improvements you've made in my diet and exercise, and it concludes that you're adding 9 years to my life. And that's just so far!”

So, how many years can we add to your life? Are you ready to find out? Not only can you add years to your life, but you can also improve the quality of your life with the choices that you make. Find out if you are ready for the challenge.
